Academic background Graduated in Law and English from Keele University in 1986. Called to the Bar in 1989. Undertook her Pupillage at Chambers of Michael Hill QC 3 Temple Gardens and St. Mary’s Chambers and has practised at St. Mary’s Chambers since 1989.
Areas of expertise/interest Has a wide knowledge and experience in all aspects of Family Law and in particular:
- Public and private children work.
- Ancillary relief and financial disputes between unmarried/cohabiting couples and under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act.
- Appeared in many substantial cases including the reported cases of Spriggs v. DPP, Loseby and Newman [1995] 2 FLR 754 Re X (Adoption: Confidential Procedure) [2002] 2 FLR 476, Re K [2008] EWHC 540
