Academic background Graduated in Law from Nottingham University in 1999. Called to the Bar in 2000. Between 2000 and 2001 worked as a Referral Order Liaison Officer for the Nottingham Youth Offending Team. Following a predominantly Family Law pupillage in 2001 at 4 Brick Court, London, she practised there until joining St. Mary's Chambers in April 2007.

- Represents Local Authorities, parents, Guardians and the Official Solicitor.
