Academic background Graduated in Law from University College Galway, National University of Ireland, in 1986. Diploma in International Law at the University of Vienna 1984. Called to the Bar in 1989. Completed pupillage at St. Mary's Chambers in 1990 and practised in general common law until 1995 and thereafter exclusively in Family Law.
