Academic background
Graduated in Law/Accounting and Finance from Oxford Brookes University in 2001. Obtained an LLM in International Law and a European Business Law from Leeds University in 2003. Lectured in Property Law at Coventry University and Constitutional and Administrative Law at Oxford Brookes University between 2003 and 2004. Called to the Bar in 2002. Became a tenant at St. Mary's Chambers in 2005 following successful completion of a specialist Family Law pupillage. Fluent in Urdu and Punjabi and has a basic knowledge of Arabic. Has completed a Diploma in Islamic Law.

Areas of expertise/interest
  • Keen to expand and develop a practice in all areas of Family Law, including private and public law children matters, ancillary and injunctive relief and under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act.
